Dark and Old!

(1/5) By Lisa Rico on 13 March, 2018

Don't be fooled by the internet photos. This hotel is very dark and very old. Rooms are standard for NYC-small but clean. There is no lobby to comfortably sit to wait for a room or to depart. One must sit in the 'Salon' (one of the few places with windows) where you are obliged to order. I did not know this upon arrival. I ordered coffee and fruit and was 'spoken to' regarding the bagel I brought in. Most stay in the Salon for hours and order water or coffee while waiting to check in or out.

Excellent option!

(4/5) By mike on 13 March, 2018

Lovely rooms, perfect location, delicious breakfast and great bar. Since the very start with Lali’s help -our great bellman- and Billy at the breakfast and Douey at reception, we were truly pampered. There is a great atmosphere in the hotel and the staff are just lovely. We stayed for two nights and were so impressed with the service and value for money. The English man at the concierge was very helpful and gave us some great recommendations. Would love to visit it again.
